THE SUN DONT RISE IN HEAVEN
NO IF NEVER SETS AT ALL
THE BREAD THERE IS UNLEVFN
AND THE LEAVES THEY NEVER FALL
BUT AT THE SUNRISE CAFÉ
ITS SIX-0-SEVEN
and THE COOK DONT BATHE AT ALL
DIDNT STOP FOR BREAKFAST
JUST TO MAKE TIME STALL
I START WORK AT SEVEN
INTO THE DAY I FALL

life just sprang out of the sea
by chances indeterminate
and god appeared out of the void
to watch this grand experiment
the chicken or the egg
and the tree in the woods
examples are so lame
when answers and questioned
reasons and rhyme
all sound about the same

don sieloff 11/94 RATS
rats in the bathroom eatin my soap
feed'in some D-CON, pray to the pope
eatin' the dog food, squirrel it away
D-day will come I feel it I say

slow lingering death by
the watering trough
last dying gasp and a death-rattel cough
I catch them In traps
I shoot'em with guns
rodent destruction
see the blood run

river
the smell of the river my memories knife
the slightest aroma will cut me a slice
so I dream of reflections and a strange eerie light
what bodies are floating in the river tonight

down by the river
the smell in the morning
everyday should be sunday
untill it gets boaring
